DESCRIPTION

The Agriculture and Horticulture elective unit provides students with the opportunity to study and research plant and animal production.

This study includes nutrition, physiology, behaviour and management. Students will learn to work in teams, plan activities and initiate self-management.

 

FOCUS

This is a practical based subject where approximately half of the student’s class time is spent working with animals and plants, with the remainder of time devoted to classroom theory to support the practical activities.
