TECHNOLOGY - FOOD - GLOBAL GOODIES
This Food elective has a ‘global focus’ building on a wide range of skills in the preparation of foods using complex techniques and equipment.
Students investigate, design, produce and evaluate a variety of food products and meals from many countries.
Students will study countries (and their food products) that have had a major influence on the Australian diet.
Product examples: indigenous food, foods and meals from a variety of countries, celebration cakes/gateaux, using chocolate and icing techniques.
