WHAT WILL STUDENTS LEARN?

Photo Film Media is a hands­‐on subject.  Students learn camera techniques, explore a variety of subject themes and the key tules of composition. Film making is also explored where the elements of storytelling and production techniques are tripled and a short film is made. Aspects of the mass media will also be discussed.

 

HOW WILL STUDENTS LEARN?

Students will learn by following 3 production stages

1.    Pre Production:  ideas, investigation and planning.

2.    Production: use cameras and equipment to bring your ideas to life.

3.    Post Production: use appropriate software such as photoshop/moviemaker/iPad apps  to enhance, edit and present your photographs and films.

 

HOW WILL STUDENTS BE ASSESSED?

Students will be assessed on the content of their PFM booklet and the production values of their photography and film making projects.
