Colac Secondary College is excited to announce the launch of its inaugural Football development program. The program aims to engage students of all genders and abilities to access high quality AFL development sessions. The program will run for 25 weeks in preparation for, and during local AFL Football seasons.

 

The program is designed and led by Jonathan Simpkin, former AFL premiership player and current player at Colac Tigers Football Club. With years of experience playing and coaching at the highest level, Jonathan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role. He has a deep understanding of the game, including tactics, strategy, and player development, and is able to communicate this knowledge effectively to students.

 

Students will develop football skills within an inclusive learning environment. The young players will refine technical skills, decision-making skills and game strategies through ball-centred activities and modified games.

 

Sessions will be held on the CSC oval, commencing after school and conclude by 4:30pm.
