LANGUAGES
We aim to develop in our students a positive attitude to language, respect for other cultures, confidence in using the language and a desire to learn about the target country. Students will also be able to participate in cultural activities and excursions related to the language learning and can have the opportunity to participate in international language exchange programs and competitions run by various language institutes.
Colac Secondary College offers French from Years 7–12. The students quickly learn to understand and use more complex language than through traditional topic-based programs. Drama and song feature heavily in this programme.
All students in Year 7 & 8 learn French. With the option to proceed with this study from Year 9 - 12
