In the days leading up to ANZAC Day, we were fortunate enough to work with the Geelong Cemetery Trust to assist with placing Australian flags on the graves of ex-servicemen. This was an amazing opportunity and we received lots of positive feedback from the staff at the Cemetery Trust. You will read more about this opportunity inside this weeks edition of the newsletter. Following this opportunity, we attended the Colac Schools ANZAC service at Memorial Square on the Wednesday. The service was a great way to recognise and pay tribute to current and ex-servicemen. This service was led by the RSL and involved all members of our school community along with other local schools.
On Thursday, April 25, Mia Carson and Zahra Weston represented CSC at the dawn service and church service. As always, Mia and Zahra did a great job and were
outstanding ambassadors for our school.
