Senior Years Handbooks
The Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) is a two-year certificate based around the successful completion of senior secondary school. The VCE provides pathways to further study at university, TAFE and to the world of work. Students can elect to undertake a scored VCE, meaning they receive a VCE Certificate, plus Study Scores for each Unit 3 & 4 Study and the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR).
The Victorian Certificate of Education - Vocational Major (VCE-VM) is a two year certificate providing pathways into the workplace, apprenticeships, traineeships or further study such as TAFE. Students who elect the VCE-VM will not receive the ATAR.
The Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC) is a new inclusive and flexible certificate. The VPC is designed and delivered at a more accessible level than the VCE and the VCE-VM.
