School Bus Program

Colac Secondary College administers the School Bus Program for Colac Network Schools on behalf of the Student Transport Unit (Department of Education).
The Student Transport Unit sets the School Bus Program Policy and provides general transport advice to schools.
Categories of eligibility determine whether a student travels at no cost or travels upon the payment of a fare. Students wishing to access a seat on a bus must complete an application form and parents / guardians must agree to the conditions of travel including, if applicable, the payment of a fare.

Fare Paying:

Government and non-government students are exempt under the age of 18 years old.

Town Bus Travel

For students requiring bus access within Colac, Christian’s Bus Co provides this service.
Please phone Christians on 5231 2203 for information regarding bus stops and fares.
Students under the age of 18 years old are required to have a Myki Youth Card. These can be purchased online, at Colac Train Station or 7-Eleven at a cost of $5 each.
