BEACON POLISH

Beacon Polish is a powerful and practical program that helps students, in Years 11–12, feel more confident about their transition into the world of work. The program also gives students an awareness of global trends including, the growth of automation and the value of transferable skills.

13 students from the VCE VM Work Related Skills class participated in the day as a part of their studies into the world of work and transferable skills. Students showed tremendous courage in their spontaneous mock job interviews and interacted well with the host from Beacon Foundation, Phil.

Thanks to Findex for supporting our students with the job interviews, building students' confidence in promoting themselves in social interactions and for hosting us for the day in beautiful facilities and very tasty food.
