HORTICULTURAL TRAINING FACILITY

The new Horticultural Training facility at CSC has been completed over the summer. The facility measures 13.5 m by 6 m and will be used for training students in all areas of horticulture including propagation, budding and grafting. Over time this facility and the surrounding area will develop into a Horticultural Training Hub. This facility will be primarily used for the Cert II Horticulture students, The Cert II Horticulture is a new development for CSC as we can deliver the qualification at CSC for CSC students with a CSC staff member. This opens up more opportunities for our students to develop practical pathways in their learning journey and we look to expand our practical pathways in the future, The hands-on learning provided by this qualification, in partnership with SWTAFE, allows students the opportunity to complete a qualification while completing school.
