WHAT WILL STUDENTS LEARN?

Art is a hands-­on subject where students are challenged to use their imagination and develop skills using a variety of media such as pencils, markers, pastels, water colours, paint and clay. 
Each student will be encouraged to explore a variety of artistic styles and explore a variety of techniques and processes. Topics may be based on the following art making methods.

• Drawing

• Painting       

• Printing       

• Stencilling          

• Collage      

• Clay Modelling

 

HOW WILL STUDENTS LEARN?

Students will learn by developing and trialling ideas in their visual diary and as a result of this process produce artworks that reflect their personality, creativity and artistic skill.

 

HOW WILL STUDENTS BE ASSESSED?

Students will be assessed on the content and presentation of their visual diary and major artworks.
