WHAT WILL STUDENTS LEARN?

The class is designed for the music performer in both a solo and group performance. Students will perform on an instrument of choice such as voice, guitar, piano, bass, drums etc. Complete music reading and aural exercises, compose music using technology and begin to analyse music they listen to.

 

HOW WILL STUDENTS LEARN?

Students will explore, perform, research and develop skills in all areas of music through practical activities.  Students will develop teamwork skills, manage their own learning and will reflect and evaluate their work through practical and written activities.

 

HOW WILL STUDENTS BE ASSESSED?

Students will be assessed by performing solo and group performance works of their choice, complete written workbook exercises and compositions on a variety of formats.
