WHAT WILL STUDENTS LEARN?

This class is designed for both the music performer and non-performer who are interested in the technical side of the subject. Students will learn the basic OH&S issues in the music industry, set-up and operate a range of P.A’s including powered and unpowered. Students learn basic lighting skills and complete recordings, compositions and create a video.

 

HOW WILL STUDENTS LEARN?

Students will learn with mainly practical activities and some written tasks. They will work as a team to set up P.A’s in a variety of settings, create a range of small projects, explore a range of computer software and look at the roles in the music industry.

 

HOW WILL STUDENTS BE ASSESSED?

Students will be assessed in their ability to set up a P.A; folio of work in both analogue and digital and present a video and/or lighting show.
