WHAT WILL STUDENTS LEARN?

Students studying French will develop the ability to communicate in French across the FOUR skills of:

Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.

They will broaden their appreciation and understanding of cultures other than their own and develop an awareness of language structure through the study of selected topics relating to everyday life.

 

HOW WILL STUDENTS LEARN?

The course builds on the knowledge and skills of the last two years of L.O.T.E.

It develops a deeper understanding of the language structure and covers many aspects of daily life such as:              

• Personality

• City or country life

• Leisure activities

• Holidays

• Organising a party

• Illness

• Vocabulary and grammatical concepts are intrinsic at this level.

• Class Discussion and Participation

• Role Plays
